Коммутаторы Huawei Smart Routing Switch S7700 относятся к интеллектуальным коммутационным системам, разработанным с целью использования в структуре корпоративных сетей. В основу предложенных Huawei-устройств заложена унифицированная многофункциональная технология коммутации, в которой объединены такие функциональные возможности, как распределение нагрузки, анализ трафика, широкий спектр политик безопасности, расширенные функции качества обслуживания и др. Коммутирующие устройства владеют 10GE-портами, которые позволяют обеспечивать кластеризацию с другими коммутаторами, комплектующимися портами конфигураций 10GE, а также 40GE.
